Completed in January of 2025, the Life Center is an expansion of Mahali pa Maisha that is aimed at being a multi-use facility to allow us to better serve both volunteers and teams that come to serve, but more importantly, to be a place we can pour into our adoptive families for years to come.

We now have over 240 adoptive families who have blessed us by providing a Christian home for our babies. Many of them keep in touch with us, and it is a joy to watch the children as they grow into teens.

One thing we quickly realized years ago was the lack of training most of our families have had. When they come to pick up their adoptive child, we do spend three days training them in the care of their new child, but there is much more that is needed for many of them.
|
|
Our plan moving ahead is to provide 2–3-day seminars for groups of 10 – 12 families doing teaching ranging from psychosocial to healthy family structures, raising children in today’s challenges, and in all topics, to use the Bible as the main resource and guide. |

|
We will bring in professional leadership from Kenya and the US in an effort to mold and encourage these families as they grow into the Christian model of a family as the Bible instructs.
