Jim and Jenny Cash

6/13/2025

Picture
Jim and Jenny Cash live in rural Hagerstown, Indiana on the Cash’s family homestead. The couple has been married for 44 years and are the parents of 3 sons (the oldest of whom they tragically lost in a car accident 17 years ago) and have 2 grandchildren. They are now experiencing the joys and challenges of rearing their teenage granddaughter who has lived with them for several years.
Jim grew up in the White Branch Church of the Brethren, the same church as Dave Bell, who was also a school classmate of Jim’s. Following graduation, Jim and Jenny were married and made their home in several different places for the next 8 years as Jim proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps. After his military discharge, Jim and Jenny moved home to central Indiana and renovated the family homestead lovingly dubbed “Dalton Mountain” (in the flat Indiana landscape, their land is the second highest elevation in the state of Indiana) where they raised their boys and still live today.
Jim currently works as a maintenance technician at GKN Aerospace and Jenny is the branch manager at First Merchants Bank in Middletown, Indiana. The couple still attends White Branch Church of the Brethren where they are very active, using their talents for the Kingdom. Jim and Jenny are the youth leaders, sing and play with the Praise Band, and Jenny serves as the church treasurer.
This busy couple doesn’t have a lot of extra time on their hands these days, spending most of their waking hours working and trying to keep up with their granddaughter’s activities. They have been long-time supporters of the Bells’ mission work and Mahali pa Maisha, and look forward to serving on the MpM Board of Directors. Jenny will also be volunteering as MpM’s US office administrator beginning in 2025.
