![]() Faith came to us in October 2018, She started her life by being dropped in a 15 foot pit latrine only moments after her birth. She was found wrapped in cloth and paper, and the umbilical cord had not been clamped. As if that wasn't bad enough, her throat had been slashed and she was likely strangled in an effort to kill her. She also had many wounds on her body from the maggots eating her flesh. ![]() After she was found, she was taken to a government hospital where she received substandard care. Once she was finally released to MpM, we rushed her to a missionary hospital where they did emergency surgery to clean out the infection in the wound on her neck and was also treated for sepsis. We were told we should expect several additional surgeries to allow Faith to have full movement of her head and neck. ![]() God moved in big ways in this little one's life. No further surgeries were required! Faith is now a healthy and happy little girl that is living with her new mommy and daddy! Comments are closed.
